Here's an overview of what happens after you’ve signed up to Risk Memo, to help you get the most out of your experience.

1. Set Up Your Account

  • Verify Your Email: Check your inbox for a verification email from Risk Memo and confirm your email address.
  • Send us your equipment data: To help you get started, we will upload your equipment data from an Excel spreadsheet.

2. Download the App

You will need the mobile app to complete the checklists. Just search Risk Memo on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Our app uses the latest technology, is super easy to use and works on almost any device, both online and offline.

3. Create Your First Checklist

Risk Memo makes it easy to digitise your existing forms and procedures:

  • Create a New Checklist: Use the template builder to convert paper forms into digital checklists. Alternatively, select from our free Template Library, which includes options like PPE Inspection and Fire Risk Assessment templates.
  • Complete a Checklist: Start with the PPE Inspection Template that’s been pre-loaded in your account. You can also attach example equipment to the checklist and explore the features like adding images, digital signatures, and geo-location​.

4. Invite Your Team

Risk Memo allows you to invite your entire team at no additional cost:

  • Send Invitations: Invite team members directly from the app to join your account. 
  • Manage access: Team Members can be assigned to locations and only have access to the checklists and equipment they need to see.
  • Upgrade your managers: Team Members are free and can complete checklists. Upgrade any team member that needs greater access, like editing checklists and equipment.

5. Add Your Equipment

  • Log Equipment: Use the app to log any physical asset, from PPE to vehicles. Each item can be tagged and categorised for easy search and retrieval.
  • Automated Record Keeping: Every edit, status change, and checklist added to equipment records is logged automatically​.

7. Utilise Advanced Features

Take advantage of Risk Memo's robust features to enhance your operations:

  • Instant Messaging: Communicate directly within the app to discuss issues, provide feedback, and share evidence.
  • Safety Alerts: Receive automated notifications for flagged issues and critical items.
